We had approximately 150 members who joined us in celebration. There were over 30 door prizes including our big giveaway of a 32 inch Flatscreen TV. Congratulations to all of those who won!

We also want to thank the Barberton Moose Lodge for the good food and atmospere. A time well worth spent.

Apologies to those who could not buy tickets in those last days because we met our limits. We will do better next year in planning to be able to include all who want to come.

The Ohio Credit Union Foundation (OCUF) is inviting Ohio credit union members* pursuing an undergraduate degree to apply for a $5,000 scholarship by creating a 1-to-2 ½ minute video advertisement that answers this question. Video submissions should spotlight one or more of the following money management techniques:

  • thrift/savings
  • sensible spending
  • wise credit usage

*Video scholarship entrants must be a member of an Ohio-based credit union.

Video Scholarship Timeline
The Video Scholarship contest will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, and end Thursday, April 26, 2012. All video entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. All videos and personal information must be submitted on the Foundation’s website.

Video Scholarship Judging
Video finalists, selected by a judging panel at OCUF, will appear on the OCUF website and the scholarship winner will be announced May 11.
