Our History

"Serving Members Financial Needs Since 1935" 

Pittsburgh Plate Glass Chemical Employees Federal Credit Union’s first official Board of Directors meeting was held on August 8th, 1935. After a years time the credit union’s assets totaled $989.00 with 182 members. Many changes have been made since that first meeting so many years ago.

In 1941, Pittsburgh Plate Glass Chemical Employees Federal Credit Union became Columbia Chemical Federal Credit Union.

In 1976, Columbia Chemical Federal Credit Union extended membership to anyone who lives, works, or attends church in the city of Barberton. In 1994, Columbia Chemical Federal Credit Union changed its name to Barberton Community Federal Credit Union to better describe its field of membership.

In June of 2002, Barberton Community Federal Credit Union expanded its field of membership again and changed its name to Integrity Federal Credit Union offering financial services to: the city of Barberton, Norton and New Franklin; Chippewa Township; and the Village of Clinton and Doylestown. Assets have grown to over $23 million and approximately 5,000 members are served.

Integrity Federal Credit Union remains in strong financial condition, enabling many financial services to you, our members.
